When I was a little girl, every summer between trips to the library and the dollar movie theater, my mom would buy me those little cross stitch kits... you know the ones... they have the little aida cloth square, pre-cut dmc floss, a dull needle and a cheesy plastic frame, usually a purple heart shape? yeah, those. I cranked out a nice amount of those each summer and my mom always hung them somewhere in the kitchen.
I haven't thought about cross-stitching in ages. Not since I picked up scrapbooking and knitting. But as I was browsing the FredFlare website, this brought all my cross-stitching memories flooding back and I promptly purchased one:

It's Madonna and her backup dancers from the Lucky Star video! Tell me that isn't the coolest cross-stitch kit EVER! What's even cooler is that you stitch it, attach it to a card and send it to someone who will think you are the COOLEST, HIPPEST chick EVER!
Go buy one!

i absolutely have to have one, and i have not cross stitched since i was 13. (we used to make those best friends ones, in that same purple heart frame) oh i would love to make this one for all those girls that i used to be best friends forever with.... i wonder where they are now! hee hee! great find!

I remember summers cross stitching away too. But I certainly didn't do anything as cool as Madonna. I need to go out and get that. :)
