One and Done, it's Klaralund

There it is. Klaralund. She is finished, I am wearing her and the pumpkin on my head so does not match. But I digress.
I knit the size 42". She is a little roomy, as I knit loose and ended up a 44". I don't mind. I like the Janis Joplin look she has. It's very comfortable and the colors are amazing.
I would highly recommend this sweater to someone who doesn't want to make a commitment. If you can knit a scarf, you can knit this sweater. Two squares and two rectangles. Totaly cinchy.
Jody helped me seam the arms to the body and we decided that a backstitch would look nice. You can't really see it in the picture, but you can see it here. Actually, you can't really see it, so nevermind! HA!
Anyway, I love her and she will be a great addition to my fall wardrobe. :)
I swatched for the HP sweater last night and discovered that size 8s are what I need to knit it on. I don't have circulars long enough to hold the amount of stitches I need to cast on, but am teaching a class at the Tangled Web on Thursday night and can pick them up then. Instead, I worked on the front of the To Dye For sweater, totally forgetting that I wanted to work on a sleeve next. Oh well. I'm flexible!

wow! it looks great with that second sleeve ;)
you did a beautiful job! congrats!

Woo woo! I'm so jealous that you're done! Mine is coming along - have the back done and the front half-done. Then I get to enter sleeveland... :)

Your Klara is great. I'm behind the eight ball on this one, but I just got the Hamilton book today.

Beautiful sweater! I have to say though, that hat is quite impressive. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your class.

the sweater looks great! the props (red Solo cup and jester-y pumpkin hat) give you a frat-boy's girlfriend at her first DMB concert kinda look.
