Cable 8!

She's finished! I really loved knitting this piece. The pattern was easy (once the initial cable glitch was sorted) and cabling couldn't be easier or more fun. If you are looking for a cabled pattern to tackle, this is a great one. The bulky yarn makes it such a quick knit! I even like the single crochet edging, though I might pull 1 row out on each of the sleeve caps. It seems to make the yarn super stiff and I feel like I have wings.
Specs:
Pattern: Cable 8 from Spring Interweave Knits
Yarn: 10 balls Skacel Vento in a sand color
Needles: size 11 Crystal Palace circular needles (borrowed from Jody), 1 cable needle, 1 size I or J crochet hook (I used J because that is what was in my knitting bag)
