Sooz!'s prompt for the 5th art card was: Whose style do you admire?

There are so many artists that I was exposed to at the Donna Downey Inspired workshop: Kal, Claudine, Jennifer, Ali, (not to mention all the other teachers and attendees!!) but the one who I am most drawn to is Donna herself. Her art is for the everyman... things I feel capable of doing and am inspired to try. Thanks Donna for making look (and really be) so easy.

This card is based on the lady skirts series she has been doing lately. I LOVE these little lady skirts, they are just so sweet. I was so excited to try one of my own and am thrilled at how cool it looks!

"Where would you go on vacation?", asked Aimee for the 4th Art Card prompt.
I'm taking her to London. My favorite city in the world.
I've been lucky to go multiple times in the past few years and I never get tired of it. So many places to go, restaurants to try and history to learn. I'm excited to go back. :)

Art Cards {Deck of Me} Project | Cards 1-3

Some of the Inspired girls are channeling their creativity into projects that will last until the next Inspired Workshop scheduled for May 2009.

Sooz and Aimee are running an Art Card challenge. The concept is that you transform a deck of cards by answering a question a week. By the time a year is up, you have 52 cards that have been altered to portray different aspects of your personality. A personal "Deck of Me".

I was a little behind on this project since I went on vacation right when it started, but I spent this week catching up. First, I found a deck of cards that I think will be PERFECT for this challenge!! My MINI Brand Playing Cards! Whee!
